For those of us inside the decreasing window of digital equity, having regular internet access as a woman means fighting off hordes of GenX and GenY "hackers" who live, breathe, and sometimes act out hate speech. The thousands of men to one girl who are native to the internet in "first nation" regular use makes it difficult to just be, as yourself, without any pressure of really seemingly nonrandom hatred, then. It is equally unfortunate that many women also use this similar hate speech, and similarly act in packs to denigrate those of us who are polite, sincere, and thoughtful. Thank you for this talk and message.

Laura S. Schor's book is basically about the birth of Israel, and the fight to include girls in receiving a quality education amidst the backdrop of two world wars.

Nonfiction is my favorite thing to read. Basically, it's living history that is real.

Annie Landau's story is one of hard work and dedication, about her struggle to make sure that although she didn't see Israel as a nation officially created, she made the foundations that make continuing impact to uplift those who received education and frames teshuvah through service, as with all three of these books.

I was so astonished to see Greg Mortenson's book Stones into Schools make the Near East come to life in my small little room, as I read it almost all morning and made it into almost a hundred pages in!

His turn from aspiring mountain climber, his background with his parents moving to Africa to teach Tanzanians, his respect and reverence for the Pakistani and Afghani peoples, and the "Dirty Dozen" of his Central Asian Institute staff members again bring inspiration to the table when it comes to believing that the right and privilege of girls to learn is so important that his staff and himself would risk life and limb to create so many schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan is such a heartwarming and marvelous real story of many people who decided to be points of light.

The Parallel Curriculum creates the point that every student can be encouraged to develop their minds and can be invited to grow to become contributing members of a plural but helpful society. To help lift communities out of poverty, the energy and act of educating youngers including girls is crucial.

The strikes of many redshirt wearing teachers all across America asking for pay rises and more resources, especially in the city and county of Los Angeles, is tied to a search for increasing better foundations, to help the youth. These teachers are the ones introducing America's future to intellectual and also to social literacy; I would highly recommend these books for any teachers at any level, kindergarten through university, for INSPIRATION, and as successful working practical ingenious models of education.

To the young (or old, then!) mother, I would also like to recommend these, whether her children are male or female or ze.

These books are recommended for every American, because the Mormon values of continual education as an important principle expressed as a vital value is universal in scope also but is an ethos that is Americanly cherished as well.

I am a product of the state of California's public school system: from elementary school, to junior high school, to high school, to adult school, to community college, to more adult school!

I LOVE CALIFORNIA'S PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM!

We may not be in the top ten states but I loved being in G.A.T.E. and I loved D.A.R.E. and I believe for every nearby adult school, a vocation is waiting for anyone interested, just as how that's how I became a Pharmacy Technician.

Born in the Philippines, it was a different scene to go to all girl's Catholic school from Kindergarten through, in appointed theory, college/university. I didn't get to wear a uniform in the beautiful U.S. of A., but I did join Future Teachers Association while in high school with one focus of going to Cal State Fullerton to be an English teacher. I did try to declare my major as Biology, I did want to pursue a more advanced degree in Anthropology also, after classes in Palomar and even Cypress got me thinking better, and more ambitiously.

I am totally a geek, I love learning. I pray for literacy every day, while cherishing mine.

These books are so inspiring. And practical. And lovely! Go read!!!!!

DANNY Baker launched into a furious foul-mouthed rant at the BBC boss who today fired him over a "racist" royal baby tweet, the Sun Online can reveal.

Baker, 61, told Radio 5 Live controller Jonathan Wall "f*** you and f*** off" as he was axed for sharing the pic of a chimp dressed in clothes with the caption: "Royal baby leaves hospital."

He later removed the tweet - posted to his 504,000 followers - and apologised saying: "Sorry my gag pic of the little fella in the posh outfit has whipped some up.

"What percentage of American jobs are minimum wage?
Characteristics of minimum wage workers, 2016. In 2016, 79.9 million workers age 16 and older in the United States were paid at hourly rates, representing 58.7 percent of all wage and salary workers. Among those paid by the hour, 701,000 workers earned exactly the prevailing federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.

What jobs are minimum wage?
The lowest-paying jobs in America

Food preparation and serving workers, including fast food.
Dishwashers.
Cashiers.
Hosts and hostesses.
Amusement park attendants.
Movie theater ushers, ticket takers.
Farm workers.

Can you live on minimum wage in America?
The minimum wage challenge requires you to work with a budget of $7.25 an hour, even if the actual minimum wage in your state is higher. So if you live in a state where the cost of living is high, you end up having to pay above-average prices for everything without an above-average minimum wage to make up for it.

What is a livable wage in the US?
The living wage in the United States is $16.07 per hour in 2017, before taxes for a family of four (two working adults, two children), compared to $15.84 in 2016. The minimum wage does not provide a living wage for most American families"

What remains to be seen is that every person ever assigned and diagnosed as mentally ill, is in fact still a person, a human with human rights.

The world does not necessarily work to give righteous humans the benefit of the doubt, just like me knowing since 2007 that my lupus would be cured by medical cannabis and not being up to today and for the nearby future given access to this cure, because society has weird ideas, like how a wildlife preserve must be a forest with pruned trees, or how your lawns must needs be mowed with people given payment to do so, not because there is no water around, but because it is a sign of status to have a mowed lawn.

Birds do not like having wings clipped; to a bird being clipped in the wings to not fly when birds are meant to fly might probably be like a tree trunk chopped off, they are limbs which God gave them because they are necessary for flight, necessary for the life of a tree just like its roots.

What I want to say is that as a certified through training and hours person who can help veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States is that I, as a Republican, loves America without condition.

But we must remember that nuking another country is in very bad form, and something we must never do again in respect of those who passed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And we must remember that sovereign nations are our partners of world peace, just as Korea is divided since the Korean War, but is, in effect, still a Korea, just as many Americans who are journalists and soldiers have accepted that Vietnam is in recent memory, the only lost war, which is, in effect, still a Vietnam outside of the United States.

Laos and the Philippines are mentioned in Korea's returning remains of American soldiers, and I could not correlate what that was really about.

Asia loves an America, as a U.S., or they wouldn't have sent so many of their children here.

As an Asian American who has papers, but was processed as a diagnosed mentally ill person not as a rape victim, and as an "illegal" which I'm still combating especially when I have access to the passport I entered the country legally with, the Social Security card I paid taxes with, and so on and so forth, I will say that Americans who are certain of God are very, very good people, and that the battle between good and evil would best be won if the "us versus them" mentally were coded clearly, succinctly, and respectfully.

that staff at my house are not faxing,

having legal proof of existence with physical hard copy,

with staff saying I am "illegal" what does that mean?

That means I am not treated as if I have rights.

I have my passport, I have my social security card,

those staff members don't want to see it,

those staff members don't want to change my paperwork,

they can also call Judge Harrison's people for proof that since May I am listed with a valid greencard.

I really could use your prayers. I really could use not being lied to, to my face, lied to, and lied about, professionally which hurts my chance of receiving housing and proper care with something that could take five minutes to see proof with your own face, with something that a simple fax, a simple fifteen minutes on the phone and changing paperwork which takes fifteen to five minutes could do.

I am frustrated, and scared, and greatly saddened.

All it takes is compassion and competency, and courtesy. Repeatedly, I get staff saying they didn't know when I inform them of events, weeks later, when I informed them with other staff there. Repeatedly, from multiple persons, denials, saying I am a liar, having the door slammed in my face by multiple persons.

Did I mentioned that I am scared? I don't want to be homeless, and I don't want to be acquisitioned by a hostile business company that has staff members beating up residents, not addressing hunger, not addressing filthy living conditions, not addressing rapes.

Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for this multilingual video. I entered the United States legally at age 8. I was told by a judge I received a greencard in May 2018. I have been under conservatorship in California, in the United States since June 2014. I was told I was signed up for SSI to receive disability (a Federal Government way for persons in the U.S.) in July 2017. I receive less than (zero, actually) $16000 a year with employment (I am not employed since 2010) so I qualify for Medi Cal but although I have a Medi Cal number I have never been given a physical hard copy. I am currently looking for housing and the social workers who work with me at my current housing listed me as is popularly known as an "illegal" because they did not process that I have a valid social security number since 1990. I also used to be in a wheelchair, having survived a fire and rape. I am so frustrated with being treated as if my truths, actual facts that can be backed up with physical evidence I have access to, and my personhood, in saying these truths, can be undercut and treated as if I am not a credible witness. I am a credible witness. I prayed, and walked out of that wheelchair. I still have problems walking sometimes, especially since I have had lupus for 12 years and sometimes persons who are diagnosed with lupus die after 2 days after diagnosis; most die in less than two months. I am a rape victim who was processed as mentally ill, and I found out today after living in my house for a year that they processed me incorrectly. I am so scared to be homeless, and they signed me up for an agency for Full Service Partnership where I had asked to not be placed, where I had been told repeatedly I would not be placed again, where I had filed a grievance, where I had stayed for 18 months with inadequate nutrition (people would fight for a potato chip), where I had been raped (I had to wait until I moved from Long Beach to Los Angeles before I could talk to Long Beach police), where they know I have filed a grievance against this business (I was yelled at, then given documentation which says I retracted the statement, and Ombudsmen/Patients' Rights ruled against me). I am so scared and saddened that I have proper papers and they were processed incorrectly, and that they wish me to return in care to a business which has abused me. I just wanted to share my story, because this video gives me hope that others do care. Thank you for the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. God bless you, United Nations.

GREEN LIBERTARIAN DEMOCRAT REPUBLICAN.

This is key, and evident in my voting record. In my head.

I am, as a joke, now, because I do believe in Hillary Rodham Clinton, signed up as a Democrat in California, though I chose to be Republican in 2007, when I decided I wanted babies, whom I still thinks it's fiscally sound, independence, and I am against abortion in all forms.

I have a valid CA ID since I moved here in 1990.

I chose not to vote when others, yeah, to my face, told me I had no rights as a human.

Where I went to elementary school through college, Cypress, there was a small mosque in the corner of the street, and it had blacked out tinted windows for most of my youth; maybe ten years ago I noticed it was still there, but all the glass had been replaced by boarded up windows. Instead of glass, plywood.

In the Torrance area, there was another little mosque I noticed; it seems slightly smaller, with a set of metal bars for a fence, wherein there are some roses.

I have been to a Zamboanga. There was a muslim sisterhood association in Fullerton College. They gave me pamphlets for club rush week. I ended up throwing away the English ones, the Spanish ones I kept quotes the Quran. I didn't read them for seven years. After graduation, I read them.

These are really meant in respect. If you do know, I do, but I also really am humble, and I am tootally into Jesus as a means of salvation. No offense meant; I think my reader demographic tends to run not skewed, but just not having had my experience of loving a Zamboanga.

I am still shocked every time I watch Bring On Da Noize.

I have got a love for Mindanao percussion like no other.
My favorite band is Abba, but in firm, sound, second place is Asin; I have probably seen a concert of Mindanao percussion, and Asin utilizes all the folk music they can find that is indigenously Pilipino.

Five percent of the Philippines is Moslem.

The other five percent is Protestant or Mormon.

Eighty percent of the Philippines is staunchly Old School Catholic; the old biddies that used to watch me when I was born probably would frown and be puzzled at my insistence at being Eucemenical Roman Catholic. I was baptised Catholic, first. I have actually been to a Eucemenical Catholic church for a baptism. Not my own, no: a new born infant's. I do love that having been a Protestant means that I pretty much have to read the holy bible every day.
